If you don’t have a tape measure handy, here’s a simple test to see if our universal fireplace blower will fit in your fireplace.
A soda can is just a tiny bit smaller than our fireplace blower insert. Using a soda can as a substitute for the blower, test fit the can through the bottom opening and work it around the gas valve etc. so that it lays flat against the back of the fireplace. If the soda can fits, then our universal fireplace blower will fit for sure. A soda can represents the diameter of all of our fireplace blower inserts. The 75 cfm blower is the length of two cans stacked together end to end. The 150 cfm blower is about the length of 3 soda cans stacked together end to end. If you perform this test we guarantee the universal fireplace blower will fit in your fireplace or your money back!
In the pictures below you can see that our fireplace blower insert is the same diameter as a regular soda can and the length of 2 soda cans taped together. If you are concerned that the fireplace blower may not fit in your fireplace, simply tape 2 soda cans together to make a facsimile for a fireplace fan. If it will fit through the bottom door of your fireplace and you are able to wiggle it through the pipes and wires to the back, then you can be assured that the fireplace blower will fit.
