75 cfm blower… with power cord

This 75 cfm blower ships with the power cord pre-wired ready for installation.  If your fireplace is equipped with a switch to turn the fireplace fan blower on/off than this is probably all you will require for complete installation.

If your fireplace has never had a fireplace fan blower installed you may also want a fireplace temperature sensor, speed control, or remote control.  Accessories purchased with the fireplace fan blower ship as an assembled kit.  Installation requires no tools and takes just a few minutes.

75cfm- (cubic feet per minute) is the size fan that most manufacturers offer for fireplaces up to 32″… if your fireplace is larger you might consider our 150 cfm fireplace blower kit. As a matter of reference most furnace heat vents blow about 90 cfm.

The specific dimensions of the blower are 2 7/8″ x 3 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ (total length) if you are at all concerned about the fit of the 75 cfm blower…try the universal fireplace blower soda can test. A regular soda can is just a tiny bit larger than our blower (height wise) if you can fit a soda can through the opening in the bottom of your fireplace & work it to the back around the gas valve & wiring… then you won’t have any trouble installing your new blower.

I received the blower on Dec. 24, just in time for family coming over. Hooked it up in about 15 seconds ( not kidding ) and made sure it worked and everything so far looks good. Today will be the big test. I will let you know how we like it in the next few days. Thank you for your excellent ordering system, very easy, and I received it in 3 days after ordering it, right in the middle of the Christmas rush. Impressive.

I wanted to let you know how great our fireplace blower is working. We had no idea what an improvement it would make in keeping us warm. Not only was the order process a breeze we were amazed at how helpful you were guiding us through the purchase to ensure we received the correct blower for our specific fireplace model. So glad we made the purchase and installed it before the Polar Vortex hit.
    Thanks again!

Installation Note: (not an issue with the fan) My fireplace had 3 outlets on the inside. 1 for the fireplace itself, 1 labeled blower/fan and 1 labled “aux”. I plugged this into the blower/fan outlet initially but got no power to it. Finally I plugged it into the “aux” outlet and it turned on instantly. So much for the “fan” outlet.
Review: I received this as a gift with the thermostat, remote, and speed control. Thankfully everything was pre-wired together. It made the wiring look a little confusing at first. However, this was really irrelevant since I didn’t have to actually move any wires and the entire thing is hidden under the fireplace anyway. It took a little effort to figure out exactly how to orient this to slide into the back of my fireplace and then how to twist my arm around to get the plastic off the back of the velcro. Still it was less than 10 minutes start to finish with absolutely no tools needed. Once I got it in place and figured out what outlet worked (again, not an issue with the unit) it turned on instantly (fireplace was already hot). I adjusted the speed control to mid-range for now and tested the remote switch. I plan on getting a lot more use out of my fireplace this winter. No more wondering how much money is going up in smoke so I can watch flames dance around. Now I’ll get to enjoy the fire and the heat that goes with it.
